When one of my newborn clients emailed me and inquired about doing a Game of Thrones session for their 6 month old girl for their Christmas card, I was all over it!  The client took the lead planning the set ups (I mean, let’s give her a round of applause for how amazing and crafty she is, bringing her vision to life!) and ordered the custom-made outfit for little Willa!  We used this image as the inspiration for the main “Winter is Coming” image (sorry, I couldn’t find the original image to link to, but if you Google Images for “Daenerys Targaryen iron throne,” you’ll see what we were going for!).  We were going for a serious look, but loved the result when she busted out with a huge smile.  I loved the challenge of determining the lighting set up, which really allowed us to mimic the original image.  I added a bit of snow in post to add some wintry magic to some of the images!  Willa’s fur siblings were also included in the session as her trusty dragons 🙂  Though they didn’t make it into the final image with the thrown, because I’m not sure which is harder to photograph: babies, dogs, or babies and dogs together!  😉   Minted.com created a custom holiday card for the client, which turned out amazing and the client approved sharing it with you all!
