A turns 1 {family photography orlando}

I was searching the web for quotes about children to accompany this post and while I found many that spoke to me, I didn’t find the perfect one. So I guess I’m on my own to find the words and articulate my own thoughts 😉 Baby A is now 1; she is one of my first Baby Planners and it feels like just yesterday I photographed her as a newborn. While it’s inevitable that I feel like time flies watching my own son grow up, it’s surprisingly no different for those I photograph. And it’s not just the children that I watch grow; it’s the parents too. Parents go through a transformation of their own during their child’s first year of life. They start out hesitant and unsure, and grow stronger and more confident, and so full of love that they are usually bursting at the seams. I am also fascinated by watching (and capturing!) the connection between the child and the parent grow over time, the trust, the joy, the closeness, and unconditional love and support. I love A’s parents to death – they are such *good* people through and through, I can’t emphasize it enough. If you were a 1 year old, they are the type of parent you would want; caring, loving, attentive. I am so blessed to have met them a year ago. I hope I get to continue photographing their sweet growing family.
