Wow, I’m on a roll tonight!  3rd blog post, definitely a record.  I have so many fabulous sessions to share, that I couldn’t just stop at one tonight.  Though 3 is probably enough :o)  Baby K is the second daughter of a friend from high school (T) and yes, you guessed it – the power of Facebook brought us together.  Such a fabulous thing.  I remember my senior year in high school, I went on a trip to Italy and T made me – wait, did you catch that??  MADE me a photo album!  I mean, who does that?!  She put the fabric and padding/stuffing on the front and back cover and put the pages together.  It is beautiful.  Although my memory is vague as to why she made it (I’m getting old people), it’s such a special gift.  Today it still sits on my bookshelf; still filled with photos of Italy.  I’ve been photographing T’s first daughter through her first year and so I was thrilled when she told me she was pregnant again.  This session was a marathon, as K was already quite alert at 8 days old and so after her first bout of sleepiness, she was up and ready to go.  I went back a second night to capture family photos outside – I’m seriously going to do more newborn sessions outside in the awesome Florida weather – babies LOVE it!!   And I love the light.  Really looking forward to photographing Baby K through her first year on the Baby Plan.  XOXO
